You don’t have to understand asexuality or aromanticism (or bisexuality, pansexuality, being trans, noninary etc.) Just acknowledge it, respect it, and move on. These are real live human people we’re talking about here, just be nice.
I don’t understand algebra. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist
I’ll be 48 in December, and my wife will be 51 in August, and she’s posted about five times as many fics as I have in the last two years, because my fic production has been shit until recently.
In the last three and a half weeks, I’ve written over 115,000 – one hundred fifteen THOUSAND – words of a modern day Merlin (BBC)/James Bond crossover, and I’m not even halfway done. In between, I’m working on my GBBO/Marvel crossover fic (because DEADPOOL and CAKE) and three novels.
A few years back, I got a two-book publishing contract because of one of my earlier fanfics.
p.s. My wife and I? We met through fanfics, we’re both asexual, and we have six cats and two dogs as our children.
i absolutely love reaching that point in a character’s development where you are no longer creating them but instead it’s like you’re getting to know them
“Slytherins didn’t participate in the battle of Hogwarts bc they’d be fighting family” Do you have ANY idea of how much I’d fucking LOVE to fight some ppl in my own goddamn fucking family forget the goddamn wand I’m gonna punch my homophobic racist uncles in the throat à la muggle
